This is a FWIW post- Dometic actually makes something called a "Cab
Comfort" system for semi tractors that consists of a 5000 BTU rooftop
heatpump with a 2000 watt (IIRC) Statpower inverter.
They give approximate run times of 4 hours for a 6 battery Trojan T-105
system, and an installed weight of 478 lbs (batteries included).
They do spec a system with an 8 hour run time, but IIRC, they use 6 8-D
batteries (I cannot find that spec sheet).
