Hello, Does anyone know anything about "Boat" gauges? Will they work in a VW? I know nothing about how a boat speedometer works. Are they cable driven? I'm shopping for gauges and noticed that gauges for a boat are about half the cost as VDO gauges for cars. Some of the boat gauges are VDO. I figure that a Tach, oil Pressure and Voltage would work. Anyone have any ideas or comments?
