Local retailers now hide when they see me coming in. The auto supply places break into tears, since they categorize the universe entirely by make, year and model. My Hella spotlight bracket started life as a shower arm at a plumbing supply house.
My local "Pull-A-Part" junk yard went up last night in a two-alarm conflagration, taking over a dozen AC Volkswagen carcasses in the blaze. I sobbed as I watched the helicopter shots on the nighttime news. I knew some of those carcasses well. Mike, your suggestion about JoAnn's is a good one.
