The SHAPE of the doors is the same, as is the window opening. Like Marc said, all the details are different, but the door opening and shape will fit perfectly.
The big difference is the trim. '68 had skinny trim, about a centimeter; '66 had the older wide trim. I'm not sure if '66 had the newer door latch mechanism, but I am pretty sure that the striker from the '68 won't fit onto the retainer from the older style without some cutting and welding.
