Good day folks, I have a '65 Convertible similar to those shown in the Samba Ads below. Both of the '65 Convertibles in the Ads have the antenna on the Passenger side of the car. One of them is attached by two mounts and the other a single mount. My '65 Convertible has the antenna on the Drivers side and uses the single mount.
Does anyone know if the radio antenna was a dealer installed item?
