Guys,
What are your thoughts on aftermarket air filters? The ones with the open
elements? I saw a locally made one available here. It lacked provision for the
preheater hose tho. Have seen similar ones on thesamba.
And what about the oil filters kits in which the filter itself fits between
the two pulleys? Are they of any major benefit to the engine health? Saw an odd
kit at a local shop which may be missing some parts and was wondering if its a
good buy. The boxes for such lits state they are aftermarket conversions for
the VWs.
