Have a question. Recently I had bought a pair of complete beetle front
dics brakes from the junkyard. They had come off a souped up 74 bug. The dics
themselves were quite worn out especially one of them but I had nevertheless
picked up the pair as they are very rare here.
Yesterday I saw parts off a type 4. Had seen the car earlier and the
chassis started from 421******
The discs from this car had very different backing plates and the knuckles
were all different. The discs were in good nick so I bought the pair along with
the callipers (which I see are a bit diffrent too).
Now would I be able to mix n match the parts??? Had I bought the complete
type 4 set, would it be possible to fit them onto a bug beam?? Have not taken
any measurements from the parts so far.
