You'll exceed the range of a 60psi gauge if you rev up
a cold engine (the control valve opens at ~65psi, but
when the oil's cold & thick the pressure can still
exceed that). Once the engine's warmed up you'll
probably only see 30-45psi so the lower range gauge
would be more useful; just be careful not to damage it
when cold.
The oil temp shouldn't ever go higher than 220-230°
IMO, so the lower-range guage makes sense there too.
