My brother, who lives in Michigan, has an autostick Ghia.
He says he lacks power, except in reverse. I only owned one autostick, and
that only for about a month. But I remember having plenty of power, especially
in the lowest gear. What basic checks can I tell him to make before he gives
up and swaps in a Manual? The shifting, he says, works as its supposed to but
is really sluggish. He wanted to switch to dual carbs, but I know that's not
he answer.
Any hints I can send his way would be appreciated.
