I have somehow ended up with two air cleaners for my 1970 bug. Which one is
the correct, factory-authentic air cleaner for a German 1500 engine (it's an
"H" block)? Both need some cleaning up, so I need to know which one to
focus on.
One has a smooth lid on the main oval-shaped body. I can't find any visible
part number.
The other has two small air-hose nipples on the top center of the lid.
Looking inside from underneath, it reads 113 129 828 A on the underside of
the plastic nipple connector.
What air cleaner goes on what engine?
