Well a minor milestone was passed last night. My little Harbor Freight lathe I purchased in 2005, but never got the chance to use, was finally fired up and put to use last night cutting some bushings for my tow-behind mower for the 8n tractor. I know it's not a major thing, but when it comes to repairing old VWs and other machinery, it's great to be able to make bushings to take up slack from worn out components.
