Hey thanks NQ, I think I figured out this car has been around in my life for about 13-14 years. I got given it by a listee many years ago. That in itself feels like it could be in another universe. I was younger then. Hell I'm still pretty young now(I'm a few months shy 25 now) However I'm kinda more engrossed with the cars then I was back then. One of my best friends his dad owns a couple Barndoors and a Zwitter. Most of my friends own some sorta German car... I'm dedicated to this thing for life it seems, its kinda been. The resto has kinda taken its toll on me a bit. I keep saying NEVER again. Although after driving that S042 to my friends wedding last year I really really want some sorta splitty. However I think I need to get a more winter friendly daily driver since like the post, the railways run 24/7...
So I will be full of questions, I'm starting to ramp up to build some sorta stroker to power this thing. I want some show and some go.. So I will be looking for more advice. I already have a case and some heads(which I might need to ditch for something else) but that will come up in another thread. I did decide to ditch my 911 style shroud and go to old sheetmetal shroud et al. Since my goal is a very kinda period correct resto custom. Electronic ignition is in the cards but I kinda it to have a timeless look...
