What disturbs me Bert is that VW is trying to cater to the high-end market. They've completely lost their roots in cheap, simple cars. If they wanted to do things like they used to, they'd do something akin to a diesel smart car, or something rear-engined, and just weird, out of the box kind of stuff. They're way too mainstream and although I do like the looks of their cars, you almost feel like if you don't make xx amount of dollars per year, they don't want you.
