Y'All, I just now checked the Volkswagen AutoMuseum Web site to look into getting a "birth certificate" for my bug.
They now charge 50 euros for this friendly little service. And say it might take 4-6 weeks due to the heavy workload. http://automuseum.volkswagen.de/urkunden.html has the information form. When did they go up to this price? Last I heard it was 20 euros! I think I can live with unknown origins.
