I did not see it but heard about it.  Funny but I think I am most like other VW 
folks in that the fun is in getting the Bug on the road and learning in the 
process.  Driving it is the icing on the cake.  That said I will continue to 
restore as long as I can!

id anyone see the Wheeler Dealer show from the UK last night?  Bought and 
estored VW bus (panel).  I remember searching for my 69/70 bug years ago to 
estore and was remembering what a guy at a San Antonio swap meet told me.  You 
re way better off from a dollar perspective buying a restored bug from someone 
t a swap meet or from someone who has gone thru the cost and heartache of a 
estoration.  He told me you would have way more invested than the car was 
orth...and boy was he right.  But, I did learn a tremendous amount from the 
rocess and now know the wiring harness like the back of my hand, BUT the 
OST!!! That is what I saw from that show last night, these guys were selling 
heir projects for minimal profit after putting in all that work and cost.
