Erin (and everyone),

The duplication of links was supplied by the Internet -- somehow. I had
merely copied the name of the publication ("Volkswagen mit 12-Volt-Anlage M
613 etc.") using Copy, then dropped it into my e-mail using Paste. Since
the title apparently embedded the URL of the link, it printed that into my
e-mail when it got Sent. (It isn't visible on the original message in my
Sent box). So: there is zero difference -- except that the second version
contains the title of the publication in addition.

We're all victims of technology that's smarter than we are.

A fellow restorer of old VW police cars is a guy named Michael Höcker, in
Germany. He has a growing Web site called www.polizeikaefer.de with lots of
pictures of his own ongoing restoration, plus stories contributed by three
other with works-in-progress. You'll have to polish up your German, but
even the pictures are fun.

But that compilation of publications on The Samba is priceless. Long live
the Samba!

Bert

Thanks for sharing that Burt. I didn't realize they had all those other
scanned-in documents on there. I better get around to saving them for my
personal records!

I'm not quite sure what the different between the 2 links you posted are.
Would you mind explaining what the difference is because I don't understand
what you mean by counterfeit fascimilie. I checked both links and they
looked the same to me. Thanks Burt!
