Volks,
I took the Copbug down to the Tannehill Bug Blast in Alabama last weekend
(http://www.tannehillbugblast.com/). I was wondering whether anybody else
on the List was also there (and didnt introduce her/himself)? It was my
first time there about 150-160 Volkswagens (guessing), including all types
of aircooleds and a smattering of watercoolers. (A beautiful 1952 was my
personal favorite it had first belonged to the Allied High Commission for
Occupied Germany!) The show has a nice location, but it was very hot, and
got interrupted by a cloudburst in midday that drove a lot of participants
out early.
It was a smallish show, with fewer events than the bigger regional
happenings offer, but still a nice bunch of folks. Ill probably be seeing
some of the participants at the Circle Yer Wagens event up in Sevierville,
Tennessee, in October. Anybody else on this List planning on it? Its a
premium show.
