If there is a size limit, I think that would address the issue. I agree that the 100k or thereabouts gives enough resolution for our purposes. Thanks again John.

I'm looking at the filtering options of Google Groups now but am certainly open to ideas: shall we strive to keep things as they were (where senders place pictures/attachments somewhere and refer to them as links) or allow attachments in e-mail?
