I managed to bend one of my circlips on a CV joint and ordered a set of four from Chirco. The circlips that came are much thicker than those I took off, they also do not have the holes in the end. I'm not worried about the holes, and haven't tried to put them on yet. I don't want to open them up if I can return them. Looking at other vendors, it seems these thicker, pointed-ended clips are what I would get anywhere. I guess I should just put them on and see if they fit, but as the group has been quiet lately... BTW, I have my trans in, the engine is in, the dual carbs are on, I need to put in the electric fuel pump, fuel lines, and check the electrical stuff. Unfortunately is about 10 ºF outside and my garage has no heat... Also my accelerator pedal is rusted solid...and soaking in PB blaster. Did I mention that my lovely wife gave me a seat heater for x-mas? Anyone using one of these, Mid America Motorworks sells them.
