Hi Anil,

With out actual measurements I could not say any more as what we are taking
about is anecdotal.  My 1200 in my 63' ran like a sewing machine rock solid
at idle never ran hot.

Please make sure that the Air intake control flap (in front of the fan) is
NOT installed, if as you say you do not have a thermostat.
