Great cause I have no real intention of dismantling it, I carry the phone in
my pocket, attached to it but inside and have on only one occasion dropped
it and was glad I did not hear it breaking, besides I like the way it
surrounds the phone and that I can wipe it off if per chance I have to
answer it when my hands are not exactly clean.

I have gotten really good at finding things but that edge is great for me.

I have the OtterBox Defender case on a 4S and scanning bar codes and other
things works just fine.

With Digit-Eyes, I hold the phone about 6 inches from the package and it
doesn't take very long to find the code.

Well, darn, I have my phone in an Otter box case and I really do not want to
remove it, it took us long enough to get it in the case but may explain why
I have never gotten any bar code to work for me. I guess I will have to be
super desperate to remove the phone from its case, can't imagine using it
without that protection and the edge of the screen there to help me
navigate. Not particularly interested in playing tug-of-war with the phone.

Ted, my spouse noticed something recently. She thought there was a greenish
tent to her photos. She removed her phone from the case, and pictures came
out colored as they should. I don't think her case was green, but somehow it
was affecting the photos.

I don't know if they are making the camera holes too small so there is some
reflection, etc., but you make a great point that people may consider using
the camera without a case for better results.

I've had digit-eyes for some time, so I was eager to try the new version. I
couldn't seem to scan anything, even things that had scanned in the past.
For kicks, I took my 4s out of its case, and things began to work like a
charm. If you're having trouble scanning bar codes, give this a try.
