yes and my friend's son had his laying on a table recently when he picked it up his glass cracked all over the place. He had to get it replaced and he is not careless with it. I know someone else who had the glass break for no explainable reason, I have in plan to remove mine from the case in the immediate future, probably not until I upgrade to 4 next year.
