Hello,

Yes, all displays disconnect whenever the proximity sensor is activated 
disabling the touch-screen. If you take the phone away from your face and it 
switches to speakerphone, the braille display should reconnect. I suspect the 
behaviour is the same with a bluetooth qwerty keyboard.
