I also have played with the app settings in the settings part of the phone. There are accouple of things you can toggle on to help out with the app. You can toggle the ability to make the app listen when it is opened. There is also an accessibility toggle, I am not sure what this does, but the menus in the app are read after you search or give the app a command. hth Ed
