Hello, Concerns have been expressed about using iBooks with a braille display. I connected my Alva BC640 to my iPhone and ran iBooks. Upon loading iBooks and touching the display to get focus in to the body of the page displayed, I merely needed to press dots 1 3 5 spacebar to cause iBooks to jump to the next page and place me at the start of the page. When I pressed dots 2 4 6 spacebar, iBooks jumped to the previous page and placed me at the top of the page.
Therefore, at least the Alva is able to fully function in iBooks without ever needing to leave the text area. Given that the commands are chorded with the spacebar, I suspect that other braille displays, except maybe the humanware displays, should function similarly in iBooks.
