Hello VaShaun, as David suggested, moving apps into folders will help clean up the screens. When you do this with the currently visible apps, eventually the invisible ones, which are only accessible via the spotlight search, will also become visible. The iPhone has a limit of 11 home screen pages. Each folder has a limit of 12 apps. Since you can fit up to 16 apps or folders on each screen you can then decide which apps you want in the home screen itself, which ones you want in folders, and the organization of those folders.

What I like to do for example is have my main apps I use daily on the first page of the home screen. Then the second page has my audio and gps apps. The 3rd, 4th, and 5th pages are full of folders which categorize my lesser used apps by groups. I also periodically go through the installed apps and if I haven't used one for months, I might remove it. Just because I have over 50gb of space on this phone doesn't mean I will fill it up with apps I may not use, or not use that much.

One suggestion I might make is while you are making your apps organized, you remove apps from the dock. These 4 apps are always the same no matter which home screen page you are on. The reason I recommend this is if you create for example, a word games folder and you have games which classify as word games on various home page screens, you can then move this folder to the dock and that way it will be there on which ever home screen page you are in. That way you can scroll to the right page and then move the specific app down to that folder. This really helps in organizing apps. It may take a while, but once you get there, things will be a lot nicer.

I hope these tips help.

My question is not how many app, folders or screens. My question is some apps

find them you can't move it that way. How can you move a app that is on the
phone but not showing up on the 11 pages?

External Brain,

Does anyone know how to move apps around when you have over 400 of them and
they don't show up on the 11 pages? I was thinking that I could open them and
then they would be in the app chooser but they can't be deleted from there. How
can a move be done when your phone is setup this way?

Thanks in advance,
