The comment in there that there is Dragon dictation but that is half
baked is a misleading comment where someone is either trying to judge
something measuring it against standards of what it is not intended to
be or someone saying something doesn't work because they won't learn
to use it! We have to be careful about the messages we convey back to
developers and the sighted community. Dragon dictation, which in its
latest revision even corrects what some considered to be inaccessible,
it wasn't really, but the issue has been resolved. It does exactly
what it is intended to do and does exactly what some of us want it to
do. If you are not willing to execute individual steps to create your
text to speech translation and then perform whatever action you wish
to using that text get a different app! Do not blame the app because
it doesn't and was not intended and should not be intended to do what
you are not willing or too lazy to do! Some of us like to proof read
and or edit and then do what we want with the text created with
control over each step of the process. I have at least 3 of the apps
that work this way and like them all right now. Other than a few
comments that are misleading and create unwanted perceptions, the
article is good and mostly raises good awareness.
