 Hi Traci,

We recommend to all of our customers whether they purchase directly through
us or one of our resellers to make sure that their phone is completely
clean prior to applying their screen protector.

This applies even for screen protectors without tactile markings. If you
put it on straight, with no corners hanging over, it will last much longer.
Putting it on crooked or onto a screen which is not free of dust, oils,
lint or debris of any kind, will cause it to peel.

We have had customers tell us that they like to switch between their
standard and advanced models, so they’ll remove one, clean the phone with
glass cleaner and dry it with the lint free cleaning cloth we provide, and
stick the old one to a shelf or place on their desk, and put on the other
one. This, without having them peel.

Also, if you purchase it from us directly, (I cannot speak for any of our
resellers,) we will replace them if they peel if they peel within a month
of purchasing.

Honestly, if our instructions are followed for insuring screen cleanliness
and it is applied straight, there’s no reason why the protector will not
stay in place.

We’ve had over 1,800 in circulation since July of last year, and very few
replacements.

Also, just FYI: We do tell folks that if they are in any way uncomfortable
with sticking the screen protectors onto their device that by all means,
have someone assist you with this process. It is however, possible to do it
without vision. My partner and I who own the company, as well as a friend
of ours who helps us make them, are all totally blind, and have applied
many screen protectors on iPods and iPhones and done it right the first
time. Point is, it can be done; though I don’t blame anyone for not wanting
to try it! **smile**

*Subject:* More feedback on speed dots?

Hi all,

I went through some of the viPhone archives and read about folks using the
speed dots screen covers.

I was hoping to get some more feedback on the 2 models. If I understand
them correctly, 1 model has all the letters covered with dots except f&j,
and the other model has f&j covered. Both models have the other dots
sprinkled around.

I'm curious who is using which one and if they feel they are worth it.

For those of you using the model where nearly all the letters are covered,
are you able to text without really paying attention to voiceover? Say for
example, you are in a noisy place.

My last concern is the screen placement and longevity. I read a handful of
messages where folks couldn't get their screens to stick and stay in place.
How annoying for a $10 purchase. Any further thoughts on this? Is it a
good idea to take the cover to Verizon and have them fit it?

Thanks for the info. In a perfect world I'd have a braille display, but
$10 is far more realistic then $1700. :)
