To answer the first question, I think they time out and go away anyway; not sure how long the time line stretches; mine was say 5/385 then 6/385 or something; so not the thousands I've neglected. Is there a way to clear out the twitter timeline of stuff you've either read already or of people whom you've decided not to follow after following them and being overwhelmed with tweets rather quickly? I unfollowed some folks, but I still see their stuff in my timeline. I don't suppose there is a way to read all tweets from a givern person all at once, rather than the intermixture that is the timeline?
