Have many tried the FaceBook the hard way, but in their mobile page which is
a great deal smaller and simpler - http://m.facebook.com.

I had more success with this so far as I could check and change things.

Hi all!

Efforts to make Facebook more accessible are always much appreciated -
thanks to all who shared their tips and experiences with this app, and
of course, huge props to the developers for putting it out there!

If I could make two observations, however, I would say that firstly
the app is almost "too simple," you know? I'm surprised you can't
simply move through items in your news feed using traditional
VoiceOver gestures such as flicking right and left. If you could, then
that would deliver a lot more power functionality such as the ability
to quickly scroll through the posts.

Secondly, I was a bit surprised that there's nothing in the way of
viewing and replying to messages and wall posts. This would seem to me
to be pretty core functionality, and I really would need to have it
before I could rely on the app.

Cheers,

Grant
