Hi Chris, for the sake of completeness it's worth pointing out that
there are many many reasons why Apple may not approve an app, apart
from it being "malicious." Sometimes they simply do not want their
user interface to be used in a specific way; for example they pulled
an app from the app store within a few days because it used the
notification center to launch apps, and they quickly pulled the
Bluetooth on/off app that many listers here downloaded. They also
denied the official Google Voice app and I believe it took a good year
to straighten that out.
