Hi,

You might try using a trick that I picked up from using the iPad,
which is to run my finger down the center of the screen in case the
screen has refreshed, but VoiceOver hasn't updated. Usually, once you
touch an element that has been updated, which tends to be in the
center of the screen, you can flick to all the other updated
elements.

However, this is what I did upon starting the iMapWeather radio app,
after double tapping "no" in response to requests for a partner code:

VoiceOver said "text field, is editing, zip code" so I typed in the 5
digit zip code for my location, and double tapped the "search" button
to the right of the space bar on my virtual keyboard. Then VO said
"empty list". I did a two finger flick up to read all, and heard
"back button", "setup heading", "done button". Then, "Please enter
your home zip code. Text field (number of the zip code I typed in
before), text field, clear text button. No media providers for this
zip code. Enter a different zip code or tap done to continue. Text
field, empty list."

Do a four finger tap in the top half of the screen to move to the
"back button", then flick right twice. I hear the "done button" with
no dimming, and could double tap it. The second time I ran through
this I had to do the two finger flick up twice, because VO stopped at
"setup heading". If that doesn't work, run your finger up the center
of the screen from the bottom (where VoiceOver says "empty list") to
the top, then try your "read all" two finger flick gesture and check
whether the "done button" is undimmed. You should be able to double
tap it and go on.

Then I get to the announcement about receiving alerts for up to 5
locations other than my current location. Again, if you run into
problems, touch the bottom center of the screen and run your finger
vertically up to hear the buttons for configuring "now" and "later",
then make VO read the screen again. All the controls you need to
configure should be active.

HTH. Cheers,

Esther
