Dear Kimber, Have you tried plugging in your headset and then unplugging it; why that worked for me, I don't know, but it was a tip I was given that worked.
This does seem to be an issue with the 4S however. Hi All, Over the past three days or so, my 4s has begun crashing, or rather VO is crashing. The phone still seems to be on but there's no sound at all -- no VO, no sound effects, nothing. I've gotten sighted help each time to reboot the phone and it comes up fine, but what may be causing this periodic crashing? And what is the best way to deal with it? Should I restore the phone? What kind of restore should I do? Could it be an app causing the crashes? This is a sudden and weird problem. Any thoughts are appreciated.
