I agree. Calling something, "junk" is a matter of personal opinion. I use the editing functions many times and I teach folks how to use them. In my experience, it's taking the time to learn how to do something and practicing at it. Unfortunately, like anything else, if the frustration threshold is reached, it's human nature just to dismiss something as being too hard or not worth the effort.
