Hi All, The new Apps reviewer at the NY Times reviewed two Augmented Reality apps - apps that give extra info about things around you.
The two reviewed are Layer and Janaio. The basic idea of these apps is that they give you extra information about an item you're pointing at - the airline and flight number of a plane flying overhead, or the architectural facts about a building, or the details about a landmark. Both are free. I'm wondering if anyone has had experience with these or similar apps and which you would recommend for VO friendliness. Here's the link to the article and note the quick calls mentions at the end includes a new Bop It app. http://www.nytimes.com/2012/06/21/technology/personaltech/apps-that-present- highlights-of-the-world-in-front-of-you.html?_r=1&nl=technology&emc=edit_ct_ 20120621 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "VIPhone" Google Group.
