I have heard that it is accessible. Here is the issue though. Since the device plugs into your headphone jack on the IPhone, you would need either a braille display or bluetooth audio such as a bluetooth headset to hear the output. You also have to pair the bluetooth after the device has been plugged in. I got all of this from the Tripple Click Home podcast from Serotalk. It is on currently the latest edition.
