There is also an app by the same company called Pay by square. This app allows you to pay your bill at a participating coffee house, ice cream store, sandwich shop, etc. with out using cash or cards. The store clerk sees your picture on his cash register and enters the amount due and it is sent to your credit card. You do not have to do anything, if you have previously selected that business to run a tab.
The app is accessible, and I have discovered a really great sandwich shop here in Tempe while looking for Pay By Square merchants. At the present time the list of participating merchants is limited, but growing.
