Knowing how proprietary the NFL is, I think it's safe to assume that the free football radio app will only work during the pre-season. Once the regular season begins, nfl.com makes it nearly impossible to listen to broadcasts without paying two subpscription prices, one for the regular season, and one for the play-offs and the Superbowl.
