I haven't found a way to delete followers.

Per Twitter tech support, I texted the word Stop to 40404. I also logged
into my Twitter account and changed my password. I then went to my Followers
and Friends lists and got rid of accounts I didn't recognize. I hope that
will end the annoyances for now.
