I don't remember what the extras are. I know there was one that gave traffic reports. I don't know how accessible they might be. When you bought Navigon, you paid for a bunch of maps. Have you downloaded them all. For example, I got the eastern US. That includes lots of maps. I have only downloaded the ones I will use. You shouldn't need the extras to get the maps you need.
