That is why I am glad I got it when it was free and also one of the reasons I stopped using it. Not to mention it seemed to be chewing up the battery sitting out in the background. ALthough maybe it has gotten better. There will be a time when cell carriers will be sending you free text messages about weather alerts. Of course this is assuming the FCC and others come together. :) And for our non-U.S. members the FCC is the Federal Communications COmmission which is responsible for all things telecom.
