Hi, No. To give you some comparisons on resets between the iPhone and other devices (mostly BN); Turning the iphone off is like putting the BN Apex into deep sleep mode. To wake the device, you'd press the power button for about two seconds. In contrast, doing a hard reset (pressing power and home for about ten seconds) is equivalent to forced restart - five second reset on the Apex. Hope this clears things a bit. Cheers, Joseph

I have found, over the years that sometimes, these electronic devices scramble their own brains requiring either a reset of some type or with some things, removal of the battery with reinsertion. Obviously, we can't do that with the iPhone, but we can try the reset.
