Since awareness is a second or so slow, and I can't determine directions with it, I prefer the aftershokz. It really depends on your hearing, I have a high frequency loss, so, for me music sounds fine. It has decent bass. It can really vibrate. That's all I can tell you on the sound, and it's quite subjective. I love the fact I can hear what's around, like traffic, and still enjoy my music.
