Hi, I got them from Amazon. And in fact, it was due to my daughter getting some for her iPhone 3GS that I got the idea to check into them from Amazon. I have 2 types. One are the TPU circle pattern cases and the other is the s-pattern case. I will provide links below. I'll refer to each as the circle case and the s-case even though they are obviously iPhone cases.

The circle case and the s-case both fit the phone very snugly and do not add bulk. However the s-case seems to fit it even more snugly as you have to be sure your screen protector is on perfect, otherwise you might pull up the corner.

The circle case doesn't have friction grips on the sides, but the s-case does. I like the grippies on the sides because it provides a more secure feeling when you hold the phone.

The circle case covers the sleep and volume buttons, but the s-case only covers the sleep button. There is a longer hole on the left side to give you access to the mute, and volume buttons. I prefer the volume buttons to be covered,so for that I like the circle case better.

The circle case covers the entire back of the phone minus the camera port of course. However the s-case has a raised circle in the back where the Apple logo shows, in addition to the camera port. So, if you are like me and Amy, you want no hole exposing part of your phone. <smile>. So, for this, I prefer the circle case.

The circle case has an over all smooth feeling whereas the s-case has a mostly smooth feeling except the pattern making the s-shape in the back. It has both a smooth and a slightly rough feeling so you can definitely tell where the s-pattern is.

Both cases come in different colors and both cases offer similar minor protection. Both cases are designed to protect the phone from light bumps and scrapes and are mainly designed to let the phone shine. Neither case covers the screen at all. Neither case covers the home button at all. I recommend a screen protector with these cases, but be sure to have it on perfectly. Especially with the s-case.

The links to the cases I got are below. Oh, and watch out for link splitting in case the link is too long. If you want to do your own search for them whether through Amazon or whatever, do a search for the keywords iphone 4 tpu circle or iphone 4 tpu s-shape.

Hi yes, either my pockets are tight, or I just have bad luck. Also, I do

have a back protector on as well because I don't like the round circle
exposed even if it shows off the Apple logo nicely. However the TPU
cases I was talking about in another post cover that area and do show a
nice circle design around it.

Wow. Did your impact case catch on things in your pocket? That's very
interesting to me.

See, because I'm a tad neurotic, I really don't like the back glass
exposed
or not covered at all. Again, that's just me. I'm even neurotic enough
to
put one of the back protectors over the glass, which is also then of
course
sitting in the Impact case. LOL
I don't know why that back glass being exposed bugs me.

Hi, actually neither. But not because I don't like Otter Box. In fact,
I
highly recommend them. I'm just a person who is a free spirit and
likes
trying new things and different things to experiment. So, I'm
currently
using some cases which are made of a tpu rubber, this is a bit of a
harder rubber, and doesn't feel like the silicon rubber that the
Impact
case feels like. This means less friction, but also less catching on
things like in the pocket. It also means a bit of less bulk. In fact,
I
just got an order for 9 tpu cases which are all different colors
ranging
from purple, to blue, to clear, to neon yellow. They don't cover the
bottom part of the screen like the impact case from Otter Box does,
but
it does form-fit the phone very well and really let's it shine
through.

The nice thing about these cases is that you can put them on and take
them off with ease, yet they stay on the phone very nicely. I also
like
the fact that I can go back to my impact case whenever I want. The one
I
don't use any more is the Defender case. I finally got tired of the
bulk, but again, this isn't anything bad against Otter Box, since
that's
the purpose of the case.

Thanks Raul,
Which one do you use?

Hi, the impact case is less bulky, but I found that it tends to
catch on
things due to the nature of the rubber. This doesn't make the case
bad, but
it does have a bit of friction. And that can be a good thing because
it
won't slide so easily across a surface. I think you will like the
impact if
you get it.

Hi all,
For anyone who has had both the OtterBox defender case and the
impact
case, which is less bulky.
If using the impact case, can you easily fit your phone into a
pants
pocket or purse or bag?
I'm thinking of ordering one from speed dots.
