One other thing I'd recommend trying out when you are creating Gmail filters for lists, is to set them up based upon the List-ID header of the list, which you can find by opening a message sent to a list in the basic HTML view, clicking on 'show original', and doing a text search for list. Then when you're creating a filter, enter that into the "has the words" box in the form shown below, which will work for the viphone list: Has the words: list:(<viphone.googlegroups.com>) This will cover not only messages sent "to" the list, but also messages CCed and BCCed to the list. The standard view of Gmail automates this process a bit, but you can still do it in the basic HTML view in the way I just described.
