I found the more I used it the faster I got and wonder whether this is a
combination of my getting used to it and the app/Apple technology

Just an FYI,
I use my thumbs like those kids who are always texting,
with Fleksy. I let the iPhone rest on my fingers and type
with a thumb on each side of the key board.
I can type almost as fast as I can on my pc, although, I
should say that I suck at typing. I can even type while I
am walking.
This app really works well, and i am getting very fast at
selecting the proper words and puncuation. Manual input
is still slow, but getting better.
