Carol,

All OCR apps use the backfacing camera because the front camera is strictly
meant for Skye or Facetime video and its resolution is way too low for OCR,
I believe it's like the camera on the iPod Touch which is 1 MP whereas the
iPhone 4 backfacing camera is 5 MP and the 4S is 8 MP.
