I downloaded the Amazon Cloud Player app for my iPhone and have been playing songs that I have bought after getting the player. Thanks to whoever offered the correction to me that songs can be downloaded from the app. This is a handy way of avoiding iTunes. I wish that I had known about this player several years ago since I buy a lot of music from Amazon. Oh well, can only move forward from here.
