I have personally found that the combination of Fleksy with the tactile screen protector increases productivity, not decreases it. Because you already have a means of knowing exactly where the letters are in space on the keyboard, by touch, when you type with Fleksy using your tactile screen protector, you'll increase your chances of being able to quickly have words recognized. At least, this has been my own personal experience, and the types of customer feedback that I've received since the release of this app. Every user is going to have a different experience as is with *everything*, but that's the data we've gleaned from personal use as well as outside sources. "remember, do not wait for the letter to be spoken". Once I got this down, my typing increased to three times the speed it is with using th regular iPhone keyboard and twice as fast as using type in Braille. Again, though Fleksy is not a perfect app, I am extremely impressed!! Kudos to the developers! Ignore it. Once you are used to Fleksy typing will be so much faster than it was with the tactile screen protector.
remember, do not wait for the letter to be spoken. Just approximate where each letter would be, then flick right to hear the word. If it is not the correct word, flick down until the correct word is spoken. Then continue typing. Chuck On Wednesday, July 18, 2012 3:28:16 PM UTC-7, Rebecca Ilniski wrote: Hi all. I was away and got home and downloaded fleksy. I did listen to the podcast and get the general concept of how it works. The issue I'm having is spacial relationships I can understand and know how to type on the regular keyboard. Anyone have any tips for getting this down? I do have the tactile screen protector on my phone and will play with this more as it really is a neat app. Any tips would be appreciated. -- Rebecca and Zeb email: [email protected] facebook: facebook.com/rebeccai5 Zeb's facebook: facebook.com/ <http://facebook.com/zeb.ilniski> zeb.ilniski -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "VIPhone" Google Group.
