Peter Damen's Worder.
Worder is a challenging anagram word game which tests your ability to find words within a set of nine letters. Worder requires no internet connection and is great for plane flights, commuting on subways and remote travel destinations. The object of the game is to make as many words as possible, and find the one word using all nine letters too. Worder has no timers, explosions or music, just sit down for a relaxing game of Worder, playing at your own pace. Worder includes many game options, including a "Shared Letter" mode where all words should include the highlighted letter, or standard mode that allows
you to use all letters.
The minimum word length for a game can also be selected, which can limit the number of words that need to be found. Worder also includes 6 difficulty levels, so that Worder can cater for those who are intimidated by games with large word sets, to those people who are word game experts. Level 6 includes all words, where lower levels include a subset of the entire word list,
based on how commonly words are used in everyday language and text.
You can challenge your friends by sending your current game for them to play. See if they can beat your score.

Version 3.0 costs $1.99

Hi,

Worder is a good anagram game. I don't remember whether it's free because I got it a long time ago.

There are four unlabeled buttons near the top of the opening screen and many of the other screens. From left to right, they are
New game
Resume game
Instructions
Configuration
The configuration screen is mostly accessible, xcept that most of the unlabeld buttons are Info, and the final one is Done. Also, you can't flick to all the controls, but you can touch them. On this screen, you decide whether to allow 3-letter words, whether adding S is necessary, whether to use American or British spelling, and a few more things.

When you're playing a game, there is a group of 8 letters, each of which is a button. Double-tap a letter button, and the letter appears in a text box below the letters. When you have all the letters entered, flick to the Plus button to the right of the text field, and double-tap it. There's no sound, but your total number of words goes up and the word is added to the list. Both of these pieces of info are available after the text box. There's also a Cross button that deletes what's in the text box. If there's nothing in the text box, it seems to cross out the last word you entered and not let you enter that word again. I'm not sure why. There's also a Flag button. This lets you forfeit the game. There's no time limit, which I love.

HTH,
Anna

Hi all,
I'm looking for a single player anagram game (hopefully free) that works with Voiceover. Can anyone help?
Any direct links are appreciated.
Thanks,
Stacey and GEB dog Chesley
